From April 30, 2024 to October 6, 2024 Caumont Centre d'Art is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the influence of Japan on the work of Pierre Bonnard. Japanese prints compared with the painter's works show how Bonnard drew inspiration from them in his treatment of space, time and movement, far from the naturalism and impressionism in vogue at the time.
