Special Issue Connaissance des Arts. Regards d'un collectionneur

1109

Assembled by Oscar Ghez beginning in the 1950s, this collection embodies a profoundly original and independent collector's spirit. The industrialist, originally from Tunisia, was particularly interested in late 19th- and early 20th-century painting, without limiting himself to the great masters. His choice of pieces reflects a free and open vision, which favors the richness of the works over the notoriety of the artists.
